Data Quality Analyst

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for performing statistical analysis and quality assessments on datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Identifies data quality issues, implementing data validation processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of data quality across the organization.

What you will be doing :

Perform statistical tests on datasets to determine data quality and integrity

Run data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions

Clean and validate data according to established quality standards

Document data quality issues and resolution processes

Collaborate with database developers and IT teams on data collection improvements

Generate regular data quality reports for management review

Maintain data quality documentation and standard operating procedures

Participate in data governance initiatives and best practice development

Support senior analysts with complex data quality projects

Adhere to data privacy and security protocols

Assist with month-end and quarter-end data validation processes

What you will bring :

Proficiency in SQL and database query languages

Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques

Experience with data quality tools and statistical packages (Excel, SAS, SPSS)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail with ability to identify data anomalies

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success / knowledge
