As aProduct Line Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the development, standardization, and continuous improvement ofpre-packaged fire pump systems.

This role focuses on organizing and optimizing product configurations, ensuring technical accuracy, and supporting the sales team with up-to-date engineering documentation and product data.

You will contribute to enhancing product performance, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction through innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise.

Your work will directly impact the reliability and competitiveness of our fire protection solutions in the market.ResponsabilitiesLead the electrical design and development of ETP firepump packages, including standardized electrical raceways, HVAC systems, wiring diagrams, and power distribution systems.Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.Review and interpret client specifications, applicable codes (e.g., NFPA 20, UL / FM), and project requirements.Prepare and validate technical documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and test procedures.Support manufacturing and commissioning teams with troubleshooting and technical guidance.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product design, cost optimization, and reliability.Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.2+ years of experience in industrial electrical design, preferably in firepump or similar packaged systems.Strong knowledge of electrical standards and codes (NFPA, UL, IEC, NEC).

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.Experience with motor control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Fluent in English and SpanishPreferred attributes : Experience in fire protection systems or pump packaging.Familiarity with the project lifecycle from design to commissioning.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.At Ruhrpumpen, we value every employee, recognizing that each person contributes to our success through their position.
