Wabtec is looking for a new member to join our Global Platform Operations team as a Vulnerability and Compliance Engineer. Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in remediation of system vulnerabilities across a variety of platform systems and a track record of partnering with technical teams to achieve continuous improvement across our compute platforms.

Eligible candidates must have legal authorization to work and reside in Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cyber team to track and resolve all security vulnerability findings within appropriate timeframes.
• Ability to work independently with assignments.
• Implement and maintain Tanium endpoint security solutions to detect and remediate vulnerabilities in real-time.
• Provide regular Tanium reports and charts on the state of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
• Understand operations and reporting in Solarwinds.
• Collaborate with application teams to identify and assess vulnerabilities in applications team OSs.
• Contribute to the design and deployment of standardized solutions with end-to-end automation for patch management.
• Participate in the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in operational support.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and trends and make recommendations for improving security posture.
• Work effectively in a global team environment across multi-functional platforms.
