About Field Service Technician JobJob Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems, troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, and driving customer satisfaction.Responsibilities : Install, calibrate, and maintain automated equipment at customer sites.Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with automated systems.

Perform on-site repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment.Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs and repair reports.Requirements : High school diploma or technical school certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of conveyor systems, sorters, or other industrial automation equipment.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC I / O diagrams.Proficient with hand tools, electrical meters, and mechanical assembly / disassembly techniques.Basic knowledge of industrial control systems, including sensors, actuators, drives, and PLCs (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred).

PREFERRED SKILLS : Basic PLC troubleshooting skills, especially with Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
