We are looking for a Senior iOS Software Engineer I to join a multidisciplinary app development team, where you will work alongside native engineers, backend engineers, and our multi-functional partners to bring exciting features for our app users.

You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to Etsy's goals and growth alongside mobile engineers and partners.This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.

You will be part of an engineering team within our Growth group, responsible for creating features to inspire users to shop for nearly one hundred million listings on the Etsy Marketplace.

Since mobile is the fastest growing segment, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to Etsy's goals and growth alongside mobile engineers and partners.

Build solutions to inspire our nearly 100M buyers, and help them discover items from Etsy's outstanding and diverse listing's inventory for their personalized shopping missions.Prototype, optimize, and deploy large-scale product improvements that deliver key results.Run experiments and use data to identify solutions and validate product improvements.Collaborate with product managers, product designers, analysts, researchers, and other full-stack engineers to deliver high-quality features to our buyers.Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require!

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are : 3 to 5 years of professional iOS development experience, ideally in a product-minded environment with 5 to 8 years of total development experience.Proficiency in Swift, you understand Objective-C enough to be effective when needing to interact with it.Proficiency and experience developing user experiences with SwiftUI.Experience with iOS development and debugging practices and tools.Ability to collaborate across functions, such as Product Managers, Designers, QA, and product engineers.Proficiency with version control tools (our tooling and processes are based on git and GitHub).
