Applications And Product Engineer

OverviewBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as Applications and Product Engineer to sustain and / or improve product yield, quality, reliability, safety, legal and environmental compliance.

Transfer new products.ResponsibilitiesThe actual KJEs may include all, some or more of the followings : Lead production by resolving material problems & software related issuesImprove product yield & qualitySupport new product / variation / ECO activitiesInitiative & drive cost reduction issuesParticipate in employee involvement teamsImprove customer satisfaction and reduce linepull / warranty to meet targetsHandle special projectsModify & debug test software (if applicable)Ensure all prints meet the revisionLead in change management processQualificationsEducation / Experience QualificationsSchooling : Bachelor / Master Electronics / Mechatronic Engineering DegreeExperience : 5 years in a similar position including a strong background of electronics, microprocessors and mechanical assemblies.Experience using GD&T, mechanical assemblies, gear systems.

Knowledge of lab tools like digital oscilloscope, curve tracer, simulators is a plus.Technical knowledge : Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole Technology processes.

Ability to address past supplier response times, resolve customer application related product problems, and access accurate product information.Other requirements : Limited networking and exposure to identify key areas for upgrading (knowledge, process, equipment).
