About The Team
At Nutanix, the Developer Productivity Network Operations team is a global team supporting Developer Productivity within the Engineering Organization. You will report to the Senior Network Operations Manager, who supports your professional development and resources needed to excel.
Your Role
- Proactively monitor and verify the integrity and availability of all network, application, and build infrastructure services.
- Enhance datacenter observability for engineering hardware and infrastructure.
- Manage capacity planning and hardware asset management.
- Streamline operational functions by integrating datacenter and network operations.
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Establish metrics to measure efficiency and operational success.
- Maintain and update documentation for processes and policies.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop strong communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams.
What You Will Bring
Strong critical thinking skills to identify systemic issues and escalate promptly.Understanding of datacenter operations, network infrastructure, and service availability.Knowledge of capacity management and hardware asset management.Experience with change management practices.Experience with operational efficiency and process improvement methodologies.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability best practices.Ability to work in a 24 / 7 environment, including weekends and holidays.Work Arrangement
This hybrid role combines remote work with in-office collaboration, typically 2-3 days per week, with possible variations based on team needs.
