Job Description :
Develop, implement, and refine welding methods across various welding processes, ensuring the quality required by the customer.
Responsibilities :
- Training Plan : Identify company needs, develop a training plan based on identified needs, create a database for each welder, define welder levels or grading by area based on skills.
- Certifications : Support in certifying any required welding process, assist in generating all necessary information for any type of certification, support in creating all types of tests for equipment to be certified, as well as welder test specimens.
- Reduction of Internal and External Quality Costs in Welding Processes : Identify all areas of opportunity in welding, assist in solving welding-related issues, collaborate with the quality team to reduce or eliminate internal and external quality costs.
- Product Improvement Studies Considering Safety, Quality, and Productivity : Identify opportunities for savings through changes in components, materials, or processes, document and justify savings, seek opportunities in welding processes to improve product quality or productivity with a primary focus on safety.
Requirements :
3–5 years of experience in Brazing / Welding processesKnowledge of procedures (WPS / BPS / WPQ), machinery, orbital / GMAW / GTAW, and laser (only for cutting)Familiarity with ASME standardsEnglish proficiency is mandatoryWe Offer :
