Overview
Join Faurecia as a Program Manufacturing Leader in Querétaro, Mexico.
You will drive manufacturing excellence from program acquisition to production launch and sustainability.
Mission
As a core member of the Program Core Team, you will manage all manufacturing aspects of the Program, overseeing all plant operations, technical interfaces, process development, and production launch for the full program life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management : Coordinate work-packages, lead plant launch teams, and interface across plant and functional stakeholders.
Product Interface (Manufacturability) : Collaborate with product engineers to ensure design for manufacturability, manufacturing feasibility, and prototype build / analysis.
Production System Development : Design and validate complete production systems – equipment, tools, layout, flow charts, material & information flow, ensuring Group standards and program objectives.
Production Launch : Validate tooling & equipment capacity, manage production launch, and support ramp-up.
Targets & Reporting : Propose industrial objectives, manage manufacturing milestones, report risks, and analyze opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 5-10 years in production / manufacturing engineering, including program launch experience.
Experience managing interaction between product and process; leading functional plant manufacturing engineering locally and globally.
Strong financial awareness – manage program finance issues (costing, P&L, investment).
English required.
Technical Competencies
APQP, PPAP process knowledge; PFMEA, DVP, R performance target setting.
Cross-training exposure to product launch phases.
Leadership – safety fundamentals, innovation, complexity, results driving, customer focus.
Financial – budget management; political savvy; self-awareness.
Technical – engineering technical knowledge for product development and launch process; manufacturing engineering.
