Akamai / CDN Solutions Engineer
About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled and curious engineer to join our team and take ownership of a complex Akamai environment while driving innovation across our CDN and cloud infrastructure. This role bridges Akamai delivery and WAF expertise with AWS integration and automation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and optimize Akamai configurations (WAF, delivery stack, EdgeWorkers, etc.)
- Manage and improve convoluted Akamai environments
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve blockers
- Drive proactive architecture and solutioning
- Work closely with WAF and delivery leads
- Analyze tickets with a problem-solving mindset
- Participate in contract negotiation and future planning
- Collaborate with automation and AWS integration squads
- Prepare for and support a multi-CDN environment
