Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Systems Engineer at the Professional level to join our team. The role involves providing controls solutions, working closely with customers and engineers to execute conveyor systems projects, and designing and commissioning controls on-site. Responsibilities include project management, on-site support, and leading multiple design and commissioning projects.

We Offer

Purpose : Responsible for controls project execution, including designing, documenting, interpreting specifications, and on-site commissioning, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand and apply safety concepts.
• Design complex material handling systems integrating hardware and software.
• Prepare quality Bills of Materials and drawings.
• Define layout areas and develop strategies for productivity, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform technical interchange and knowledge transfer.
• Lead project engineering and site commissioning.
• Ensure standard work packages are followed.
• Coordinate with customers and support continuous process improvements.
• Travel up to 25% to customer and Dematic locations.

Problem Solving & Critical Thinking

Apply Dematic application guides, write and emulate PLC code, resolve complex problems independently, and participate in quality checks and design reviews.

Lead Role

Manage controls engineering activities, lead small to medium projects, mentor junior engineers, support sales and solutions development, and ensure project scope and risks are managed effectively.
