We are seeking a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our Digital Workplace Platforms team.
This role is focused on advancing collaboration technologies and will play a key part in defining, building, and communicating technical vision for the Collaboration Services Platform.This role involves strategic technical leadership within the team, ensuring ongoing modernization and integrated collaboration platforms.
You will be working closely with the Platform Manager and other team members to drive automation, deployment, configuration management, patching, license provisioning, user lifecycle management, and alerting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical vision and architectural strategy, providing technical support for end-user issues and concerns for the Collaboration Services Platform (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Box, SharePoint, etc.) to ensure future scalability, performance, and compliance.Support in the Administration of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID / Azure AD), Zoom (Meetings, Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms), Box, Adobe Acrobat / Sign, and Power Platform tools.Drive automation of deployments, configuration management, patching, license provisioning, user lifecycle management, and alerting using PowerShell, Python, or relevant scripting tools.Collaborate with Product Teams and Architects to ensure infrastructure aligns with Agile architecture and DevOps best practices, including Continuous Delivery Pipelines.Develop automation workflows for CI / CD pipelines, testing, and platform monitoring.Handle platform migrations, onboarding of acquired companies, and rationalization of collaboration technologies.Contribute to projects for Enterprise Content Management, PowerApps, and data integration.Partner with the Enterprise Monitoring and Automation Specialists to build intelligent alerting systems that preemptively address end-user collaboration issues.Apply Systems Thinking and Requirements Engineering principles to assess technical feasibility, risk, and long-term value of solutions.Maintain high performance, reliability, and user satisfaction standards while reducing operational overhead through automation.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and legal / regulatory policies affecting collaboration platforms and communications.RequirementsTechnical SkillsMinimum of 4 / 5 years in IT engineering or architecture roles focused on platform administration, automation, and systems engineering.Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft Office 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Zoom Workplace, and Unified Communications platforms.Demonstrated success managing enterprise collaboration platforms and supporting thousands of global users.Experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), automated platform monitoring, and cloud-native DevSecOps practices.Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Desirable QualificationsCollaboration Platform Administration – Deep experience with Microsoft 365, Zoom, SharePoint, Teams, Box, and Adobe administration.Unified Communications Knowledge – Understanding of cloud VoIP, Zoom Phone, telephony infrastructure, and integration with other collaboration tools.Power Platform & APIs – Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph API for platform customization and automation.Scripting & Automation – Strong PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting skills, including deployment automation and system orchestration.Monitoring & Analytics – Ability to set up platform monitoring, track license usage, identify inactive accounts, and generate actionable reports.Network & Security Fundamentals – Basic-to-intermediate understanding of network management.Agile Systems Thinking & Architecture – Approach systems holistically while guiding technical direction in Agile / SAFe environments.Customer focus – Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsGlobal Perspective – Comfortable working across cultures, regions, and time zones with a consistent commitment to user experience and enterprise goals.Communication & Collaboration – Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and end users to solve complex problems.Preferred certifications : Microsoft 365 CertifiedZoom Certified AdministratorGoogle Workspace AdminUnique Role RequirementsAbility to work in a hybrid, globally distributed environment with cross-functional stakeholders.Availability to support global collaboration platforms across multiple time zones, with occasional after-hours work during critical migrations or upgrades.Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, service-oriented approach.Willingness to lead platform modernization and support legacy system transformation initiatives.Passion for enhancing digital employee experience and fostering innovation in the digital workplace.
