We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Plant General Manager to lead one of the flagship manufacturing sites of a global Tier-1 automotive supplier , located in the Monterrey region (Mexico) .

This site currently employs a few hundreds of people and is entering a major growth and transformation phase , with new product launches and a strategic expansion plan in the coming years.

About the Role

This is a turnaround and transformation leadership role — ideal for a hands-on, results-driven leader capable of bringing structure, discipline, and operational excellence to a fast-growing industrial operation.

You will be responsible for reorganizing, coaching, and developing the site organization , instilling the fundamentals of Lean, Quality, Safety, and Performance Management , and building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and transform the site to world-class operational standards (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People).
• Rebuild and strengthen the management team — lead by example, coach, and empower the next generation of leaders.
• Drive excellence in manufacturing, assembly, and metal / mechanical processes , ensuring robust launches and ramp-ups.
• Implement and sustain Lean methodologies and operational best practices across all functions.
• Partner closely with corporate leadership to align strategy, performance, and investment priorities.
• Represent the site as a benchmark for the Group’s North American operations.
