Your JobWe are seeking a proactive anddetail-oriented MSBI Support Engineer to join our team.
This is a support-focusedrole responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting BI solutions developedusing the Microsoft BI stack—SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
The ideal candidate willhave a solid understanding of BI processes, strong problem-solving skills, anda customer-focused mindset to ensure uninterrupted business operations.Our TeamThe team ensures the smooth operation of business intelligence systems bymonitoring ETL jobs, resolving incidents, and maintaining data quality acrossSSIS, SSRS, and SSAS platforms.What You Will DoProvide L1 / L2 / L3 support for MSBI solutions(SSIS packages, SSRS reports, SSAS cubes).
Monitor scheduled ETL jobs, investigatefailures, and ensure timely data loads.Handle incident and service request ticketsrelated to BI systems within defined SLAs.Troubleshoot data discrepancies,performance issues, and report failures.Work closely with development and businessteams to understand recurring issues and suggest improvements.Ensure data quality and integrity acrosssource systems and BI layers.Document issues, resolutions, and maintaina knowledge base for common problems.Participate in weekend / off-hours supportrotations (as needed).
Maintain and update technical documentationrelated to support activities.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)3–5 years of experience in MSBI support(SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
Strong SQL skills, including queryoptimization and troubleshooting.Experience supporting data warehouseenvironments.Good understanding of job scheduling tools(e.g., SQL Agent).
Familiarity with incident / ticketing tools(e.g., ServiceNow).
Strong problem-solving, communication, andanalytical skills.What Will Put You AheadExposure to Power BI support andtroubleshooting.Experience in automation of routine supporttasks / scripts.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
