The Role : Senior product owner
We are seeking a hands‐on, technically savvy product owner to drive the development and validation of our platform. The MVP has attracted significant interest, and we are now building a product and engineering team that, in the next year, will build worker and client experiences and scale the venture to multiple countries in Latam. In this role, you will provide hands‐on leadership and bring the product vision to reality.
You'll define and own the product roadmap (MVP to scale), collaborating closely with designers, engineers, researchers, operations and venture lead. You'll define and refine requirements, prioritize the backlog, and run sprints for research and engineering. You will ensure each sprint delivers measurable business and customer value.
The role starts as a hands‐on "do‐everything" position and, as the business is expected to grow substantially in the coming year, the person will grow into the product leader we need to scale the product. Hence, this role requires someone who thrives in fast‐moving, ambiguous environments, balancing technical depth with strategic clarity. No task is too small for you. We expect you to lead by example and solve all problems you come across. Don't delegate but own.
You'll be responsible for :
- Own the product roadmap, ensuring clarity and choices are made to maximize value, while reducing risk, in a resource‐constraint environment
- Translate business and customer insights into clear technical requirements, epics, and user stories
- Lead one or more agile development squads, managing backlog priorities, sprint goals, and iteration plans
- Define product release milestones, set expectations for functionality, and ensure on‐time delivery
- Balance the voices of the customer and the worker while balancing technical feasibility and business goals
- Identify technical dependencies and risks, mitigating blockers that could impact release or sprint outcomes. Manage technical debt
- Partner with the Venture Lead to define clear success metrics, track progress, and prepare updates for the Venture Board
