At MezTal , we are building a new accounting department in Mexico to work with a US based operation , and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with limited but relevant experience who have worked with U.S.-based companies and are eager to develop their careers in accounting.

NOTE : The start date will be in early October, and the recruitment process is currently underway to secure the right talent for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial records in compliance with U.S. GAAP .
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial statements.
• Prepare and organize documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
