We are seeking a Maintenance Director to join our team in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. Our goal is to find a skilled professional who can develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning : Identify potential hazards and risks associated with maintenance activities, as well as environmental aspects and impacts.
- Talent Development : Ensure that personnel under your supervision possess the necessary skills and technical competencies for their roles, and that they comply with preventive health campaigns and medical check-ups.
- Program Implementation : Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all plant assets.
Key Objectives
1. Lead analysis to determine critical equipment within the plant, identify key operational issues, and develop a work plan to eliminate them from the root cause.
2. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with government and industry regulations.
3. Identify, request, and allocate necessary resources for maintenance activities to meet operational standards.
4. Develop and propose a maintenance operating budget to ensure equipment and facilities remain in optimal working condition.
5. Manage CAPEX funding to improve equipment and facility performance.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, managing unionized and non-unionized personnel.A professional degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, or Mechatronics).Experience managing contractors.Maintenance experience in extrusion, injection molding, or tooling plants.Project experience, including use of CAPEX and SAP systems.Strong leadership skills, critical thinking, planning, analytical thinking, communication skills, impact and influence, negotiation skills.Advanced English proficiency.
