The Senior People Operations Specialist is responsible for providing a wide range of Human Resource operational services. This position supports the strategic goals of the Human Resources department by offering support in all areas of Human Resources Operations, including operations, benefits administration, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
">
- Manage various Human Resources operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
">
Perform the new hire process, including system entry, collection and audit of new hire paperwork, and collaborate closely with the payroll team.">
Manage benefits and leave of absence administration, including enrollment, audit, internal communications, and serving as the primary point of contact for employees' queries.">
Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and provincial regulations, conduct regular audits of documentation and operational processes, and programs.">
Partner with the Lead Operations team to generate and review reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in reporting.">
Collaborate with the Lead People Operations Specialist to maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation for Canada.">
Work with global teams to establish or update internal systems to meet Canada's needs and requirements.">
Coordinate work with other global and local departments involved in related processes.">
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR operational matters, including benefit and leave questions.">
Requirements
">
The successful candidate will possess :
">
A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in various areas of HR or HR Operations.">
Education in Human Resources or equivalent experience.">
Proven experience in HR Operations tasks, including but not limited to onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, employee file management, compliance, etc.">
Passion for teamwork and continuous improvement, with attention to detail and critical thinking skills.">
Self-motivation, with a customer service approach.">
Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.">
Ability to prioritize competing demands and work within tight timelines.">
Capability for self-management, working effectively with minimal supervision.">
Preferred experience in a global organization.">
