What you will do
Provides design engineering and project oversight to ensure all design deliverables are released on time and in full compliance with the product design development process and customer expectations.
Lead key and complex design of special options for current chillers.
How you will do it
Lead complex contracts, planning and development of the design as well as the supervision of the information generated by other designers and drafters assigned to the contract.
Lead structured problem solving, and drives positive teamwork.
Design of electrical harness 3D models and routing, electrical harness schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram, mechanical 3D models, piping, sheet metal, assemblies.
Verify design with simulation tools.
2D Engineering drawings interpretation and creation
Bom management
Lead Product Agile Design Reviews, Audits, DFMEA, DFMA.
Interact with Contract and Product Engineering to understand system interactions and constraints, provide guidance and feedback.
Lead root cause analysis, document and solve design issues.
Lead workshops, trainings, sessions to improve Design guidelines, processes and methodologies used in the Engineering design team.
Develop and improve electrical harness routing guidelines and processes.
