Amazon is seeking an OTR Manager Jr. based in Jalisco, MX. You will be part of the Amazon Logistics team, responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the delivery station, overseeing on‑the‑road operations that focus on the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers. You will lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Partners in daily management of the delivery station, including operational reviews, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs, including owners and representatives.
Responsibilities
- Promoting a culture of safety
- Ensuring that people are properly trained and their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs
- Supporting and assigning job duties to process assistants
- Adapting to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities, due to the nature of Amazon's business
- Tracking & monitoring sorting operations and driver dispatch
- Helping with in‑station operations : receiving, scanning, lifting, and moving shipments up to 25 kg

Conducts Gemba walks and audits plansManages shift start‑upExecutes safety audits, walks, and stand‑up meetingsVerifies daily operations plan, volume, staff attendance, and route planningEngages with associates, completes performance audits, and conducts quality inspectionsCompletes reports (Daily Ops Plan, Shift Recap Board, End of Shift Report) and addresses any discrepancies in reporting toolsHolds end‑of‑shift meetings with leadership team to review performance opportunities and establish necessary action plansPerforms shift handoff to incoming Shift Manager (in person or email) and creates next‑day plans - Availability to work rotating shifts according to business requirements, as well as weekends and holidaysQualifications
