Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico) as
HR Manager - LATAM
, supporting our continued growth in the region.
This role will lead all local HR and Payroll activities, acting as the primary HR contact for the region.
It will develop a strategic perspective on HR matters in LATAM, provide coaching and advice to employees and managers on people-related issues, and support the delivery of the Global HR strategic agenda.
This position will be based out of our Mexico City office and could require occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the local payroll and benefits programme for approximately 70 employees across Mexico, Colombia and Uruguay (with a view for future growth).
Liaising with trade unions as required.
Advising the local management teams on a broad range of HR matters including hiring, change programmes, employee relations and off-boarding.
Leading the recruitment and onboarding of new vacancies / hires.
Supporting compensation, talent and succession reviews.
Supporting training / development planning for team members and delivering HR training as required.
Role modelling Cubico values and contributing to local CSR, wellbeing and other culture / values initiatives.
Contributing to and delivering against global HR initiatives including global HR reporting.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Demonstrable experience operating successfully as an HR practitioner with experience of managing payroll.
Experience of working with multiple CBAs and trade unions.
Strong communication skills – fluent English & Spanish (written and verbal).
Experience hiring roles at all levels, across both office and field / operational functions.
Ability to identify, manage and resolve HR issues.
Be a self-starter who can manage a full and varied workload and deadlines.
The ability to roll your sleeves up and work on both strategic and operational HR issues with a strong sense of emotional intelligence and resilience.
A mature attitude to HR matters with the ability to think strategically and focus on priorities
Adept at building relationships with an open and proactive approach to working as part of a global team.
Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
