Inspired Education is seeking an IT Coordinator Mexico to join our team.
Based in Monterrey, this role oversees IT operations across our Mexico schools (AIM campuses in Monterrey, The Wingate School in Mexico City, and any future acquisitions).
This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape technology strategy and delivery across multiple campuses, ensuring secure, reliable, and innovative IT services for our students, teachers, and staff.We're looking for a strategic, hands-on IT leader who thrives in multi-site environments, balancing technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the country-level IT lead, ensuring alignment with Inspired's global and regional IT strategy.Oversee ICT Campus Supervisors in Monterrey and Mexico City, ensuring high-quality user support and professional growth.Manage IT infrastructure across campuses, including networks, security, CCTV, PA systems, and new campus builds.Lead administration of systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, iSAMS, and digital learning platforms.Establish and monitor IT service delivery standards, ensuring responsive and efficient support for staff and students.Support academic technology, ensuring classroom IT (AV, projectors, boards) is reliable and future-ready.Act as the country Data & IT Security Officer, implementing cybersecurity policies and incident response.Oversee IT asset lifecycle, vendor management, procurement, and national IT budget.Lead IT due diligence and integration for new school acquisitions in Mexico.What the Ideal Candidate Will HaveEssential Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.5+ years in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory / country-level leadership role.Proven experience managing IT across multiple sites.Strong background in networking, systems administration, and cloud platforms.Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native) and advanced English.Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Entra ID / M365, Google Administrator, Cisco CCNA / Meraki, or Apple Management.Desired Master's degree or postgraduate studies in IT Management, EdTech, or Business Administration.Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirableSafeguarding StatementInspired is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
