Responsibilities
- Responsible for Value Optimization Ideas Generation and Implementation
- Responsible to capture and waterfall Lessons Learned by commodity
- Provide coaching to engineers and support to the Subdiscipline Manager ensuring we are following the processes
- Ensure team is following CPCP and design & process requirements / best practices
- Harmonization and standardization of documents with EMEA / LATAM / APAC
- Ensure a successful launch and support CST / Warranty activity
- Develop core DFMEA / DVP&R / EKF rules and ensure documents are utilized
- Review and validate DFMEA / DVP&R
- Obtain Subdiscipline Manager / Discipline Manager approval of changes
- Review initial / final CCDs and IAA's
- System ownership
- Support PC / DR / SR
- Conduct design reviews and ensure best practice compliance (e.g., BIW checklist)
- Review compliance reports
- Planning for future projects
- Review rework procedures
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or equivalentA minimum of 8 year of automotive industry experience in automotive sheet metal componentsKnowledge NX / TC.Good understanding between EBOM / CODEP / STV / TCR.Excellent communication skills, excellent relationship building skills, proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.Preferred
