PRIMARY FUNCTION
The RCM Business Analyst Intern helps monitor and analyze a wide array of RCM Operational metrics and KPIs to find areas of opportunity in daily operational processes related to the revenue cycle of our 200+ business units, overseeing enterprise processes, performance, and workflows to enhance RCM’s operational efficiency and KPI definition. This position interacts with developers, stakeholders, system architects, and various subject experts while documenting and creating manuals when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitoring various daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly operational metrics for different purposes
2. Overseeing process improvement projects built from engineering methodologies related to statistics and data analysis.
3. Gathering data from revenue cycle operations, patients, providers, and insurances to identify trends and areas of improvement.
4. Collaborating with cross functional leaders in due diligence projects that are related to the company’s growth plan.
5. Data mining to create studies and reports for different departments within PAFC.
6. Develops and maintains dashboards that provide real-time insights to revenue cycle performance.
7. Oversees database automatic reports management.
8. Supports operational and financial forecast and budget activities.
9. Helps devise training materials regarding daily clinic processes to improve performance.
10. Collaborates with IT and data science teams to enhance data collection methods and analytics capabilities.
11. Other administrative tasks and ongoing projects as needed.
