Business Intelligent – Transportation

That’s why we are currently looking for : Data Analyst – Transportation Location : Remote (Mexico) Contract Type : Temporary – 1 year Start Date : January Language Requirement : Advanced English (mandatory) Position Objective : Provide analytical support to the transportation team within a medical technology division in the U.S., through data analysis, generation of insights, and continuous improvement proposals as part of a cost optimization strategy. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with business stakeholders and transportation teams to understand analytical needs. Conduct data analysis using existing tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Apply the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to evaluate process improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain reports that effectively communicate analytical findings. Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Create process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to visualize workflows. Secondary Responsibilities : Contribute to the development and enhancement of reusable analytical assets (data models, pipelines, dashboards). Collaborate with Analytics and Innovation teams to integrate outcomes into broader data assets. Share best practices and reusable components to promote a collaborative environment. Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing analytical solutions. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Proven experience in data analysis or Six Sigma methodologies using modern tools such as Power BI . Strong command of data visualization tools and SQL for querying and data manipulation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote environments. Preferred Skills : Knowledge of Statistics and Six Sigma methodologies . Experience in the Transportation or Logistics sector. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse). Understanding of transportation / logistics datasets and KPIs. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
