Indirect Tax Project Test Lead

Job Title : Indirect Tax Project Test LeadLocation : Guadalajara, MexicoJob Summary : We are seeking a skilled, experienced individual for Indirect Tax (VAT / GST) testing to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of transaction tax determination and rules and have also knowledge of the underlying processes for Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), master data GL , Customer and Vendor master data BP, Reporting, generally particularly having a high level of expertise in using the SAP S4 Hana platform.Responsibilities :

• actively participates in project meetings, represents the indirect tax process, responsible for validate test master data validation, data migration, and user training, ensuring successful and timely completion of test steps, tracking the progress in Testrail, raising bugs in JIRA, working with IT to explain the issue and collaborate to resolve.
• validates production master data for completeness and correctness for indirect tax determination purposes, works with the master data teams to correct the data centrally.
• Troubleshoots independently, quickly finding the root cause of issues.
• Leads and provides expertise to functional project teams and leads cross-functional initiatives.
• Responsible for e2e SIT and UAT and regression testing
• Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to address moderately to highly complex issues and devise effective resolutions.

Partners with Global functions such as Tax, IT, Controllers on medium to complex requirements, influence and arrive at a compliant solution from a country perspective, whilst design ensures best possible business solutions.
