Descripción del trabajoA 4-year degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in indirect site procurement or category procurement team in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred. Negotiations and contract management of international and local suppliers are essential skills. You must have strong stakeholder management and presentation skills. Analytical, team-oriented, well-organized, and able to set priorities are necessary qualities for this role. Experience with MS-Office Tools and SAP is highly desirable. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled procurement professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing indirect procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, RFPs / Qs, and contract management. Job Summary
- This role focuses on strategic procurement of indirect goods and services within assigned locations and categories.
- You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of purchase requisitions, from verification to conversion into Purchase Orders using SAP.
- Develop and execute Request for Proposal / Quote (RFP / Q) processes, review submitted quotations, create price comparison sheets, present sourcing recommendations, conclude contracts, and place purchase orders accordingly.
- You will also define and implement local category / sub-category strategies for assigned locations in alignment with Category Procurement team and internal stakeholders.
- Benchmark responsible spend regularly, identify opportunities for improvement, lead supplier negotiations, and implement potentials accordingly.
- Maintain transparency of all contracts, frequently review terms and validities.
- Improve existing procedures and systems related to indirect purchasing.
