Our client is migrating from a legacy ERP system to SAP ECC6 across multiple regions, including USA, MX, and Canada plants.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead and support the migration, ensuring smooth transition of financial and controlling processes into SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead FICO process design, configuration, and migration from legacy systems to SAP ECC6.
• Work with business teams across USA, Africa, and Canada plants to gather requirements and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
• Perform fit-gap analysis between legacy system processes and SAP ECC6 functionality.
• Support data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation during migration.
• Configure core FICO processes : GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, COPA, and Product Costing.
• Ensure integration with MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
• Develop and execute test scripts (unit, integration, and UAT).
• Provide cutover planning, go-live support, and post-migration stabilization.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to end-users and local finance teams.
• Support compliance with GAAP / IFRS and tax requirements in USA, Africa, and Canada.
