Salesforce DevOps & Copado Engineer

Ford Pro seeks a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce DevOps and Copado Engineer. This pivotal role combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce with a strong focus on implementing and optimizing DevOps practices, particularly leveraging Copado for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release management. As a Salesforce DevOps and Copado Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust, secure, and efficient CI / CD pipelines for our Salesforce and related applications. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and product teams to foster a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement, ensuring seamless and high-quality deployments while upholding the security and integrity of our development processes. Your Salesforce architectural knowledge will be critical in developing deployable and scalable solutions that align with DevOps best practices.

Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in software development or DevOps engineering, with at least 3 years focused on the Salesforce platform.

3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing CI / CD pipelines for Salesforce, with significant expertise in Copado.

Proven experience with Salesforce development technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Visualforce).

Strong proficiency in Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI.

Expertise in source code management with Git (., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and branching strategies for CI / CD.

Familiarity with quality assurance measures, including automated testing and static code analysis tools (., SonarQube, PMD, Checkmarx).

Solid understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools.

Experience in estimation techniques for development and deployment efforts.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

English B2+ level.

Preferred Qualifications :

Copado Administrator or Copado Consultant certifications highly preferred.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II.

Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator.

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with scripting languages (., Python, Bash) for automation.

DevOps and Cloud Security certifications or relevant coursework.

Experience with other CI / CD tools (., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) in addition to Copado.

Experience with automated testing frameworks for Salesforce (., Provar, Selenium, Jest, Mocha).

Certifications in specific Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud).

Strong understanding of Salesforce Permissions and Data Visibility controls in a deployment context.
