A leading company in the food manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced leader to oversee daily operations and drive long-term improvements at one of its key production facilities. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence, optimizing production processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

The individual in this leadership role

is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations at a major manufacturing site, while also shaping long-term strategic direction. Key duties include streamlining production processes, upholding rigorous quality standards, managing financial resources, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. By aligning site initiatives with broader organizational goals, this leader addresses facility-specific challenges, champions sustainable practices, builds strong supplier and customer partnerships, and drives continuous improvement efforts to elevate overall performance and contribute to the organization’s success.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate across production and related functions to define and implement best-in-class manufacturing practices, driving efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Ensure adherence to production plans, optimize processes to minimize costs, and manage third-party manufacturing relationships.
• Translate business strategy into clear, actionable goals and proactively lead teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Develop and empower the workforce, fostering a culture of motivation and continuous competence development. Oversee recruitment, management, and development of team members.
• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of assets, collaborating with technical teams for ongoing improvements.
• Define and manage facility budget objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and optimizing resource utilization (P&L ownership, financial performance, KPIs).
• Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.
• Execute and optimize production processes, integrating new technologies to enhance competitiveness.
• Lead and facilitate improvement projects to enhance production cycles and drive operational excellence.
