Manufacturing Engineer – Plant Support

To support manufacturing operations and production lines of high-volume automotive components, such as Power Distribution Units (PDU), Body Control Modules (BCM), Zonal Controllers, or similar electronic modules.

The role focuses on process optimization, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement within an automotive plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, on-site support to production teams, including assembly process optimization, tooling, line balancing, and process flow improvements.
• Identify and resolve production issues affecting quality, scrap rates, and throughput efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5Why, and 8D problem-solving.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to meet plant operational targets.
• Support PFMEA, control plan development, process validation, and production readiness activities.
