Jarvio is the agentic workflow automation platform powering eCommerce brands. Think Cursor meets N8N, custom fit to the data-heavy eCommerce industry. We are building out our Mexico City hub and you will be on-site as one of our founding engineers.

As a Principal Engineer at Jarvio, you will own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of the platform. You will be hands-on in building our workflow automation engine while also guiding technical decisions across the stack. From designing an N8N-style system that integrates with Amazon SP-API, Google Suite, and task management platforms, to setting the standards for code quality, infrastructure, and scalability, you will be the senior technical leader shaping Jarvio’s foundation.

We are building the system of intelligence for eCommerce brands, starting with Amazon. Our platform combines AI, automation, and workflows to help brands grow faster without scaling headcount.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and design of Jarvio’s core workflow automation engine.
• Build and scale integrations with critical APIs such as Amazon SP-API, Google Suite, and task management tools.
• Set engineering best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement FastAPI services, event-driven processes (SQS / Lambda), and production-grade data pipelines.
• Oversee database schema design and safe migrations for high-volume, multi-tenant systems.
• Add deep observability across systems : monitoring, logging, metrics, retries, and alerts.
• Mentor and guide other engineers as the team scales, fostering a strong technical culture.
• Work closely with the founders on product and technical strategy.
