Position
We are looking to hire a Category Manager for our Aftermarket Division. This position can be located at the Guadalajara or CDMX offices.
What you can look forward to as Category Manager?
- Primary and secondary research on market sizes, shares of players, existing business models and customer journeys, key trends, pervasive problems with commercial value, opportunities for disruption.
- Utilize research outcomes to define the ZF market and product strategy that is aligned and synergistic with the higher-level business strategy.
- Financial business case development and approvals.
- Create strategy execution project plans with well defined attributes (business outcomes, timing, costs, milestones).
- For new digital products in the aftermarket across multiple markets, conduct product-market fit analysis.
- Prospect new customers, manage opportunity pipeline, manage customer relationships, sales management.
- Documentation and disciplined communication on projects and sales pipelines, including escalations.
Your profile as Category Manager :
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree required; fully bilingual.Highly motivated and passionate individual who can work independently and in ambiguous new situations.Experience in market analysis and evaluating product-market-fit; ability to create and track progress against business value-driven metrics.Proven ability to present projects and research through presentations with summaries and key messages; entrepreneurial attitude and strong business acumen.Highly preferred – experience with Mexico online automotive aftermarket parts commerce and catalogs.Relationship-building skills inside and outside the organization.Experience in development of complex strategies and successfully managing execution; knowledge of diagnostic and repair activities in target markets; M&A experience is a plus.Experience working directly or indirectly with installers (e.g., repair workshops) and fleet customers in target markets (passenger car, commercial vehicle, industrial).Why choose ZF at GDL or Mexico City?
