Senior Core Network & 5G Engineer – Remote Support

100% Remote – Work from anywhere in Mexico | Supporting a US-based Tier-1 Telecom Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 / L3 technical support for HSS, IMS, PCRF, DRA, STP, EPC, and 5G Core
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network incidents
• Manage product-related queries and maintain strong communication with customer accounts
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams, partners, service providers (MNOs, ISPs, carriers), and on-site teams
• Participate in Technical Call Bridges for diagnostics and collaborative problem-solving
• Oversee hardware, VM, and software installation / configuration (OS install, RAID, HA modules, IP allocation)
• Collaborate with L1 / NOC and L3 teams to filter and resolve issues
• Prepare incident reports and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Ensure SLA compliance and exceed expectations per contractual agreements
