The Area Sales Manager for International Sales in LATAM plays a vital role in driving growth and expanding the company's market presence through distributor partnerships This role is dynamic and requires adaptability and agility to achieve the desired outcomes in a competitive business environment.
The Responsabilities :
- Revenue Growth : Drive growth through distribution and export partners; achieved by identifying and onboard new partners, nurturing existing relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies and targets.
- Expand market share : Expand the organisational market reach by leveraging the partner network. This involves identifying new markets and segments, working with partners to access those markets, and developing strategies to increase the organisation's presence in targeted regions. Collaborate with partners to create joint go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
- Strengthened partner relationships : Building and maintaining strong relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for all distributors addressing the need for support, training, and resources to, resolving issues or conflicts, and fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
- Effective channel enablement : Ensure that our distributors / channel partners have the necessary tools, resources, and information to effectively sell and promote the organisation's products and services. This includes identifying when, product training, sales training, marketing materials, and ongoing support, is needed.
- Improved channel performance and productivity : Monitoring and evaluating the performance of channel partners is a crucial aspect of the role. By tracking partner performance, and implementing improvement initiatives, the Area Sales Manager should drive increased productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the channel.
- Market and competitor insights : Gather and share market intelligence and insights from channel partners to inform business strategy and product development. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Contract and Agreement Management : Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with our partners. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure our partners have the support they need. Provide feedback from partners to internal teams to help improve products, services, and processes.
Your Profile :
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or similar.Knowledge of fine chemicals and laboratory consumables and equipment is a nice-to-have.Demonstrated experience in managing distribution within the laboratory chemicals industry.Strong understanding of channel management strategies including partner recruitment, enablement, and performance tracking.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with partners and internal stakeholders.Demonstrates ability to negotiate and close deals, with strong business acumen.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in sales and CRM software (HubSpot), Sales data along with MS Office Suite.Ability to travel as required to meet with distributors / channel partners, attend industry events, and represent the company within the Laboratory industry.Flexible – some overseas travel and overnights will be necessary.Self starter - Identify knowledge gaps and proactively seek to fill them.Good communicator – effectively understand customer needs and share internally.Team player – must work effectively with other departments.Motivated and organized – utilize time effectively and manage priorities.Attention to detail – provide accurate and appropriate information and advice.Professional & personable – confidence in presenting to groups and building relationships.Apply Now!
