Senior Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce
Position Overview : Outset is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the full development lifecycle; translating business requirements into scalable, functional software systems, services, and solutions that enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will scope, design, deliver, and support critical solutions focused on Sales and Service operations across the enterprise. Partnering with key stakeholders, you'll streamline and improve business processes on the Salesforce.com platform and related systems, impacting productivity, user experience, and business outcomes.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, optimizing workflows and recommending improvements
- Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to define business and technical requirements; create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional, and technical systems documentation
- Lead the delivery of enhancements by implementing configuration changes in Salesforce, including the creation of custom objects, workflows, flows, validation rules and approval processes; partner with external developer resources as required to deliver advanced customizations
- Develop and maintain project plans, manage risks and issues, and provide regular project status updates
- Work with business users and corporate quality teams to develop test plans and procedures, validate the application design, define acceptance criteria and verify system functionality against business requirements
- Collaborate with business partners on deployment of system changes including training, change management, and communications
- Provide production support of business systems, analyzing and resolving system issues and end-user requests
- Assist in the development of custom queries, reports and dashboards for business users
Requirements / Qualifications
5+ years’ experience as a business systems analystIn-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com platform configuration, architecture, and implementation best practices, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce LightningSalesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Business Analyst)Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); experience with Waterfall or Agile / Scrum methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; mature judgment and structured decision-makingExcellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization and influence in a dynamic matrix environmentCreative, flexible, and collaborative in approach to technical problem-solvingMastery of unit testing, software change management, and software release managementAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing systems and data in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, SOX, HIPAA)Desired Qualifications
BS or MS in Information Systems or related fieldExperience as a Product Owner in Scrum or Agile development environmentsKnowledge of software quality assurance and validation in regulated environments (GxP)Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, NetSuite)Experience with middleware platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, InformaticaExperience in the Medical Device or other regulated industriesEmployment type
