About the Role

The IT Security SME SAP has overall responsibility for all technical workstreams including Basis / Infrastructure, Reporting & Analytics, Development & Integration, Data Conversions and act as a liaison between process & technical teams for architecture, design, development and testing.

Essential functions

• Overall technical coach and planner, works with PMO, business process leads and Walmart Tech Leadership.
• Responsible for the completion of all technical project deliverables.
• Responsible for overall tech status, tracking and management, resource planning.
• Manage technical related escalations and reports into project leadership.
• SAP landscape planning and support architecture discussions.
• Review and resolve technical design and integration issues.
• Confirm complex, cross-functional technical designs.
• Lead in overall prioritization of technical requirements for sub-team.
• Participate in solution design workshops, infrastructure discussions, technology design and architecture workshops.
• Manage and drive technical related issues, risks, and resolutions.
• Manage the technical team on key activities.
• Support efforts to promote technical solution buy-in from all stakeholders.
• Oversee technical mock cutovers, integration testing, performance testing, dress rehearsal, final cutover, go-live and hyper care support activities.
• Create and maintain detailed sub-team plan with counterparts for sub-team.
• Act as a " change agent" for assigned technical area by actively endorsing and supporting the forthcoming changes.
• Advise and guide the technical team in program delivery and execution of responsibilities.
• Works closely with the Walmart Technical Architects in Architectural related activities.
