EPAM Mexico is seeking a seasoned professional in Java Development who is dedicated to driving innovation and enabling business transformation for both our clients and our organization. We need a skilled engineer capable of delivering impactful solutions that enhance our status as a reliable partner and a leader in the global technology arena.

To excel in this role, you should possess leadership abilities to inspire a team of engineers, foster technical excellence, and consistently deliver top-tier solutions. Additionally, you are expected to contribute to the growth of our engineering practice in Mexico while cultivating a sustainable pipeline of talent and innovative ideas for the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to your team by recruiting, mentoring, and advancing their career development. Offer constructive feedback, address conflicts, and ensure team cohesion, aligning their activities with organizational goals to establish a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Facilitate AI integration by aligning with strategic objectives, nurturing innovation, and enabling team growth while managing infrastructure scalability and ethical considerations
• Define and establish software development processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and a strong technical foundation tailored to project needs
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and advancements in the Java ecosystem and apply relevant innovations to enhance project performance or efficiency
• Actively contribute to resolving critical technical challenges during SWAT events, stepping in to minimize disruptions and ensure effective resolutions
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Java technology stack and its evolving frameworks and tools
• Enhance skills through participation in courses, certifications, or technical training programs
• Communicate and advocate for technical solutions to customers and stakeholders while proposing alternative approaches to achieve objectives with confidence
