This position will work together with interconnected facilities to ensure efficient package handling and last-mile delivery services across the designated territory.Key job responsibilitiesYour ResponsibilitiesManaging an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to our customers, subject to ever rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24 / 7 basisFocus on driving and improving end-to-end flow value to to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve Customer Experience.Driving operational goals and metrics for your Delivery Station.

Communicating the vision to your teamPresenting operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership teamProblem-solves for closing gaps between performance and goalsHires and develops top talent.

Creates and implements a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagementWorks with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering#AmazonMexicoThis role requires to move across different locations under it ´s scope of responsibility.Initially, the role requires to work at nights and flexible shifts to fully understand the E2E operation cycle, after that is expected to have a flexible shift.A day in the lifeThis manager will be responsible for key metrics include, but are not limited to : Safety Metrics, On-The-Road Metrics, Under the Roof and Cost Metrics including Optimization process.About The TeamResponsible for goals in an area where the strategy may not yet be defined.

Establishes workflows, SLAs, and operational excellence mechanisms at the site.

Sets the standard for effective Delivery Station management and is well versed in industry practices and technologies.

Has a deep understanding of the business priorities and customer needs, and can proficiently translate those needs into the right solutions.

Brings Operations perspective to decision making with strong business acumen (understands contribution to the business and partners with finance for cost-benefit analyses).

Broad experience across functional and technical areas, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale operations.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experienceWork a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidays6+ years of general experienceSolid understanding / background from Last mile operationsEnglish Fluency5+ Years as people managerPreferred Qualifications3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceMaster DegreeLean / Six Sigma CertificationOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
