Finance Professional
This senior finance role is responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, reporting, planning, and analyzing financial-cost performance. Prepares detailed financial plans and forecasts based on performance expectations. Gathers and publishes comprehensive financial information related to historical, current, and future performance. Conducts in-depth financial analysis concepts and techniques. Recommends alternative courses of action.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cost Accounting : Oversees all functions and activities associated with the managerial cost accounting section, including budgets, manufacturing product costing, manufacturing variance (direct labor, material, and overhead) analysis, inventory reconciliations, forecasting, and projections.
- Closing & Reporting : Coordinates the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial statement, quarterly schedules, year-end financial information packages, and reviews with a senior controller; verifies reasonableness and provides management with manufacturing performance reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, including manufacturing variance analyses and explanations of yields, scrap, rework, and other factors. Analyzes inventory balances and other account reconciliations as assigned.
- Monitors, prepares, and leads the review of financial reports and packages with a senior controller before publication, Financial Review with leadership by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
- Provides day-to-day financial support to business personnel. Supports monetary spending overhead analysis and budget control; audits cycle count programs to ensure effectiveness and timely reports results to management.
- Supports continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Provides direction in finance / cost analysts, ensuring the finance team provides efficient and effective support to the manufacturing site and provides accurate and timely submissions to the site, division, and corporate.
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree.8 Years of experience, both overall and industry-specific experience needed : +6 years' professional experience in controlling or cost accounting.English Language : Required.Strong knowledge of cost, general accounting is a plus, SAP, strong Excel.
