Summary : We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our Engineering Department.
The role involves delivering high-quality electrical design work, accurate project quotations, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of automation systems, from design and build supervision to start-up, debugging, and final commissioning.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement electrical designs, control programs, and system concepts.Support sales presentations and prepare project quotations and proposals.Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to meet technical requirements.Supervise machine build, installation, and commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.Maintain project documentation, manage suppliers, and provide regular progress updates.Act as Project Engineer when required.Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent controls experience.5+ years of experience in assembly machine design and sales-related projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi), and HMI programming.Strong knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, EtherCAT, Modbus).
Experience with power & free conveyance systems, indexing tables, walking beams, and assembly equipment.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relation skills.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Control Engineering (professional title required).5+ years of experience in control systems engineering.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.Valid U.S. visa (any American visa) for international travel.Conversational level of English (oral and written).
Preferred : Experience in automation installation within the automotive industry (assembly or powertrain).
