Responsibilities
The Opportunity
- Analyze, record and provide documentation and accounting adjustments to ensure financial closure of Latam Headquarters Activities, and prepare, integrate and execute the financial report in the HFM system to provide reliable information to shareholders in accordance with PepsiCo policies.
Your Impact
As the Cntrl & Rpt Accountant, execute month-end close processes (GL-JE) ensuring timely completion and adherence to PepsiCo requirements.Ensure the accounting process complies with control requirements and generates information for management financial reports.Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze balance sheet reviews for material impacts.Execute financial reporting in PepsiCo systems (SmartView / FDM - HFM).Support the business unit with financial analyses to aid controlling and decision making.Participate in periodic, quarterly and annual reporting as required by the organization.Communicate clearly with OU, intercompany counterparts and other users regionally and in the SSC; maintain strong networks with Latam country teams.Maintain internal control procedures and ensure SOX compliance; support external audits; complete ad hoc projects as requested.Qualifications
Education
University Degree in Finance or Accounting (required).Experience
2+ years of relevant experience in US GAAP; experience in large multi-unit environments preferred.Good time management, self-directed, able to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish; ability to collaborate cross-functionally with US teams.Advanced knowledge of accounting processes (Bank Management / AR / GL / Intercompanies / Financial Reporting / Taxes) and integrated financial analysis standards.Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).ERP knowledge in SAP, HFM, FDM is desirable.Skills
