Site Security Manager - MVO

Overview

Role Purpose

The purpose of the Site Security Manager is to ensure the security of our building, company assets, and people within our Monterrey Valley Operations organization.

Location : Lado Sur Carretera Ciénega de Flores a Salinas Victoria Km 1+900, 65556 Ciénega de Flores, N.L., México

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with the requirements in Volvo Group Steering documents, Security Requirements and other policies, directives and security requirements issued by Volvo Group Security.
• Act as the organization’s point of contact for security tasks and confidentiality errands.
• Work in close contact with local law enforcement and local communities in security collaboration.
• In accordance with Security Policies, directives and requirements, manage guarding services, access control and preventative and reactionary security tasks.
• Incident management, ongoing reporting and contact with the People & Culture (HR) department, contact and being contact with state services (police, army, city guard, fire brigade, municipal crisis management center, border guard); receive correspondence from state services and verify / respond (e.g., police tickets, other events).
• Handle / investigate theft, sabotage and other criminal incidents on site.
• Supervise the stations where the security system will be implemented.
• Inform internal and external audits for sites, including Site Security Assessment, Site Risk Assessment, Volvo Blue Audits, etc.
• Inform Site Management regarding legislation and other security regulations that influence security and business objectives.
• Conduct continuous and proactive assessments—threat, risk and other assessments needed to meet business needs and security requirements.
• Inform site leadership of security needs, escalations and increases of security as situations arise.
• Identify and implement areas for improvement.
• Perform and regularly review zone assessments, security risk assessments and security system assessments.
• Plan, do, check and act on security site assessments, security risk assessments and site compliance with security requirements.
• Support planning of new premises, facilities, buildings, zones, equipment and working processes.
• Participate in security training and security awareness training, and train the local organization when required.
• Be the local representative for Group Security policies, directives, requirements, initiatives and reports.
• Management of site security systems.
• Management of site guarding services, security services and security suppliers.
• Assist the site crisis management team.
