Overview

Sr Manufacturing Engineer : Provides direction and engineering support for production, testing, and maintenance of a manufacturing operation. Provides engineering support to shop floor. Tests manufactured products to maintain quality. Participates in refinement of engineering systems and processes. Resolves or coordinates the resolution of complex technical issues on the assembly line and in the manufacturing process. Leads technical design, development, and process equipment testing for assigned products. Assists in the preparation of proposals on products for customers. Establishes processes to eliminate defects. Provides continuous improvement to manufacturing process and product designs.

Responsibilities

• Desarrolla propuestas de compra de equipos de fabricación estudiando planes y compromisos de fabricación; evaluación de los procesos y requisitos de fabricación.
• Recomienda nuevos equipos de fabricación mediante la identificación de vendedores y equipos operativos, incluidos los dispositivos de control; evaluar las capacidades del equipo y la historia del servicio; evaluando el servicio y soporte del proveedor.
• Completa las proyecciones de costo de equipos analizando la inversión, beneficios y ahorros.
• Monitorea las instalaciones del equipo asesorando a las tripulaciones.
• Cumple con los requerimientos de producción diseñando modificaciones de equipos.
• Prepara a los operadores de equipos mediante la capacitación; proporcionando recursos de referencia y apoyo.
• Mantiene la integridad del proceso desarrollando y actualizando políticas, procedimientos, métodos y directrices.
• Mantiene los registros del equipo mediante la presentación de documentos; actualización de la base de datos de equipos.
• Protege el valor de la organización manteniendo la información confidencial; advirtiendo a otros sobre posibles infracciones.
• Contribuye al éxito de la ingeniería y la organización al recibir solicitudes relacionadas, diferentes y nuevas; ayudando a otros a lograr resultados de trabajo.
