Senior Tax Analyst - TikTok - LATAM

Overview

The Tax Team at TikTok helps ensure that our company and all our products are tax compliant throughout different regions and countries. The Tax Team provides support to internal requests and works with multiple stakeholders to support product and business launches and new features. The Team is seeking a tax Specialist to help establish new processes and scale existing processes for our Spanish Speaking Latin America portfolio (i.e., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc.). You should be able to work well with cross-border colleagues and cross-functional teams and assist with the management and ownership of end-to-end operational processes for the subject areas. The successful candidate will be a highly driven, focused individual who can work with internal and external partners at all levels. Please submit your resume in English to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tax compliance and planning processes with outsourcing firms in different countries (i.e. Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc).
• Support the implementation of tax compliance routines in new countries in LATAM.
• Respond to internal tax inquiries of moderate complexity, and assist business partners with tax issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and analyze tax judicial and administrative precedents that impact the company's operations and financial positions.
• Provide support for ad hoc tax matters, i.e. product launches.
