First Brands Group is hiring for a Applicants Engineer / PLM Engineer for our IT division
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain PLM systems (Windchill, PDM) and CAD applications (Creo, AutoCAD, PTC tools).
- Manage engineering software licenses; monitor usage, ensure compliance, and provide consumption and subscription reports to management.
- Develop and execute SQL and MQL queries to extract system data for reporting, metrics, and decision-making.
- Provide user support and training on CAD / PLM tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT to support system integrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and server-related tasks.
- Interface with Linux servers to retrieve and analyze relevant system data.
- Manage product data, document control, and change management processes within PLM / PDM systems.
- Support engineering workflows and ensure adherence to company data management standards.
- Utilize Minitab and related analysis tools for reporting and statistical analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, workflows, and reporting accuracy.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.3+ years of hands-on experience with Windchill, PDM, Creo, and other PTC software.Strong skills in SQL and MQL for data reporting and analysis.Experience with AutoCAD and 2D / 3D CAD standards.Familiarity with Linux server environments and ability to retrieve / analyze system-level data.Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes and best practices.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
