KitchenSync’s Payroll Coordinators are the liaisons and quality control specialists responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing as well as ensuring proper HR practices and policies are followed. They work directly with clients, client employees, our data processing team, and our payroll processing software partners. Our Payroll / HR Coordinators work across several databases, cross-checking and analyzing data for technical and commonsense accuracy. Common areas of involvement include editing live payroll information, correcting and updating employee demographic, tax, and wage data, reviewing time-cards, running payroll reports, answering employee questions, and disseminating information across functional internal teams. 2+ years direct payroll processing experience using a mainstream processing platform (i.e. Multi-unit payroll preparation and processing
~ Excellent critical analysis skills
~ Understanding of payroll taxes – what triggers them, how they’re calculated, etc.
Ability to understand, analyze, and apply federal, state and municipal legal requirements
