Launchpad Technologies Inc. is recruiting an IT Service Desk Specialist to support a high‑profile U.S. client for 2026. The role is a full‑time, independent contractor position, fully remote and long‑term engaged. Contract Type
Independent Contractor (full‑time, remote, long‑term).
Responsibilities
- Providing L1–L2 technical support to end‑users remotely.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Managing tickets via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Office 365 environments.
- Escalating incidents appropriately and following up until resolution.
- Communicating clearly in English and delivering a customer‑service mindset.
Qualifications
Required experience :
Active Directory user management, password resets, and permission control.Remote support tools (RDP, AnyDesk, TeamViewer).VPN, network, and printer troubleshooting.Device imaging and endpoint configuration.Documentation and knowledge‑base updates.Bonus points :
CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Modern Desktop certifications.Support of macOS or mobile devices (iOS / Android).Experience with Intune, MDM, or ticket automation.Familiarity with 24×7 environments or global support models.Benefits
