Job Title : Customs Logistics Manager

Job Description :

Lead the strategy and operation of cross-border imports from Asia to Mexico via air freight. The role requires a strong strategic vision and international trade expertise to anticipate regulatory changes, design efficient import schemes, and support business growth within legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and optimize T1 and A1 import schemes to ensure full compliance and adapt to changes in customs and trade regulations.
• Oversee relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Plan and monitor air and ground customs clearance processes at key entry points.
• Track and report broker performance, developing action plans to resolve operational issues.
• Develop new channels and import schemes to reduce costs and clearance times while maintaining full compliance and scalability.
• Ensure smooth daily operations, reviewing consignments, validating MAWB / HAWB accuracy, sending pre-alerts, and coordinating in case of schedule changes or cancellations.
• Simplify and communicate complex trade regulations, customs laws, and policy changes to internal teams to support decision-making.
• Cross-functionally collaborate with global teams to implement new processes, integrations, and contracts.
