Sr. Homologation Specialist

Descripción del trabajoCollaborate with R&D and global product teams to adapt vehicles to local regulations and customer needs. Provide technical input to product strategy, ensuring homologation timelines align with launch plans. Conduct competitive analysis on homologation-related features to identify gaps and opportunities. Prepare commercial offers by segment based on product features, benchmarks, and market demand. Act as liaison between Product Strategy, Engineering, and Quality teams on homologation matters. Analyze Voice of Customer data (SSI, CSI, Test Drive Satisfaction) to guide product decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical, or related). 5+ years of experience in product planning, market studies, homologation, or regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of Mexican NOMs and certification processes. Familiarity with EPA, WLTP, NEDC, and UNECE frameworks is a plus. Proven ability to manage cross-functional and cross-border projects. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Technical Mastery : Deep understanding of homologation and compliance. Strategic Thinking : Ability to align regulatory needs with product strategy. Project Leadership : Skilled in managing timelines, approvals, and stakeholders. Analytical Skills : Strong ability to interpret technical data and market benchmarks. Collaboration : Effective communicator across global and local teams.
Senior Homologation Specialist
Geely Auto México is looking for a Senior Homologation Specialist to lead the homologation and product planning efforts for our vehicle lineup in the Mexican market. This role ensures that every model complies with national regulations while aligning with customer expectations and long-term product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Homologation Management
- Lead homologation processes for new models, versions, and powertrains.
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican NOM standards (safety, emissions, labeling, environmental).
- Manage certifications, approvals, and technical documentation with authorities and third-party agencies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and prepare product pipeline for future compliance.
